The charterboat "Blástein" 12.5 meter overall, 3.9 meter wide. Has a 250 horsepower Ford Mermaid Monarch.
The new Blástein on top of the water
The new boat was built in Romsdal, Norway 1963. When she came to the Faroe Islands, her name was Tjřrnunes.
When we bought the boat, April 2008, she had not been used for nearly 3 years. So there was a lot of work to do before she was ready to sail again.
We repaired and painted the boat and named her Blástein after our first boat that sunk in a storm in January 2008.
